"Nature deficit disorder” highlights the toll modern life takes when we disconnect from ourselves, nature, and each other, fueling mental health struggles and relational breakdowns. AEJ fiercely advocates for the essential role of mental health support for all, inviting marginalized groups into the great outdoors where nature acts as co-therapist and guide.
While these services can be out of reach for some, AEJ is committed to making professional mental health skills freely accessible. We believe that nature is a powerful, untapped resource for building resilient individuals and communities, especially for those who are too often overlooked.
